Add Customer Part Number

The customer part number feature is an easy way for customers to remember products they would typically search for.

These may be common nicknames a company would use for a product, or a customer number directly from the manufacturer company.

Once you have added the customer part number, you can then use that as a keyword to search for the product again making your search results quicker and easier.

How do I add Customer Part Number?
  • To add a customer part number, simply navigate to the product page of the item you are looking to add the number to.

    On the product page, you will see an image on the left side of the screen and on the right side you will see the UPC, Graybar Part Number and Manufacturer Part Number listed with the Brand Name and Manufacturer of the product. Underneath the UPC you will see the CPN section with an edit button. Once you click the edit button you will be able to add the CPN you want. You can then save the CPN, and you will see it populate on the screen.

    When you search for the product again, you can enter the CPN in the search box and your item will populate. You can have as many Customer Part Numbers you want for an item. So, if you have employees who know a product as many different names or numbers you can easily add them all.
