At Graybar Canada, we believe that the success of our company is built on the quality of our people. With a culture of continuous improvement, Graybar Canada aims to provide an enhanced quality experience for both internal and external customers. Graybar Canada offers customer training delivered in a variety of methods to keep customers up-to-date on new technology, products and industry trends.

Continuous Training

All Graybar Canada employees complete a core curriculum and development plan through Graybar Canada’s Career Management System. There, they can take job specific courses, product training and soft skills to better serve customers.

Training Facilities

Many branches offer a conference/demonstration room, which are fully equipped to host training seminars for either staff or customers. For hands-on technical training, smaller groups can be set up in a classroom-style to ensure there is a low ratio of trainer to students.

Certified Trainers

At Graybar Canada, we differentiate ourselves from our competitors in many ways – one of which includes our knowledgeable staff, who not only have industry experience, but are certified experts in their field. Whether it’s Lighting Certified, or a Security Product Certified, you can trust that we are qualified to give sound advice.

Product Education

Vendor partners will often host product training for staff and customers either in the training rooms, or during a Counter Day event. Counter Days generally focus on new products that have recently launched and are stocked by the local Graybar Canada Branch.

Interactive Events

If you are out working in the field, sometimes Webinars are not as easily accessible as they sound. Branches hold Lunch N’ Learns either with vendor representatives or by showing a webinar on the big screen. Why? So you can have more time to get your job done – pick up your order, get a free lunch, and learn about a product line or solution – without even interrupting your day!

Hands-On Vendor Training

Taking the training to the next level is sometimes necessary in order to really understand a product. Vendors representatives offer product demonstrations and hands-on training with demo units.
