I want to congratulate Graybar Canada’s Kitchener branch and Graybar Energy (a subsidiary of Graybar Canada operating in Ontario) for successfully registering to the new ISO 9001:2015 standard in June.
The Graybar Canada Kitchener and Graybar Energy teams began their journey to the new standard in the fall of 2017. Working directly with them myself since March, I saw first-hand their commitment to achieving this goal.
The ISO 9001 standard provides guidance and tools for companies and organizations who want to ensure that their products and services consistently meet customers’ requirements and that quality is continuously improved. The decision to pursue this certification demonstrates their pledge to providing quality customer service.
Graybar Canada’s internal Quality Management System is based on seven quality management principles, involves all stakeholders (customers, employees and suppliers), and is managed digitally on our employee intranet (MyGraybar).
I am very proud to say we meet the requirements and have been certified to the International Organization for Standardization.
